Activists’ appeals facing roadblocks

Authorities in Burma are hampering efforts by lawyers representing activists to lodge appeals on behalf of their clients says a lawyer quoted by the Democratic Voice of Burma.
Pho Phyo a defense lawyer representing several detained activists said the authorities were using delaying tactics to damage his client’s chances of a successful appeal.
