200 Burmese women held in China
The specter of human trafficking of Burmese women into China has again raised its ugly head, with the Irrawaddy reporting 200 Burmese women were arrested in China.

NLD chair reported to be stable.
Aung Shwe, the ageing chairman of Burma’s opposition party, the National League for Democracy (NLD) is recovering following treatment for poor health last month reports New Delhi based Mizzima News.
