Good news for anyone thinking of visiting Mae Sot in the near future: You should soon be able to fly here from Bangkok once more. I spotted the poster below in downtown Mae Sot the other day.
Just think, no more overnight bus trips, no more fighting the crowds at Mo Chit, no using filthy toilets at rest stops at one in the morning.
At present, the Air Phoenix web site doesn’t contain much information. Just a few job ads.But, presumably, their future pilots cannot be aby worse than the Phuket Air pilot who skidded off the end of the runway a few years ago.
